Sunshine and warmer weather has at last arrived - let's hope this bodes well for the end of the month and The Chelsea Flower Show week - 24th -28th May. We are on the same stand as previous years, W10 on Western Avenue, and we look forward to seeing you there. A few of the items we will be taking to Chelsea are highlighted below - they include:
A late 17th Century Well Head in Italian Istrian Marble - one of the most durable materials used in Venetian architecture. This is a rare and beautifully carved piece which will form the centre piece of our Chelsea stand.
A very rare Compton Pottery Keystone in terracotta measuring 33cm high x 27cm wide.
As mentioned in last month's news Wendy Lewis is now blooming at Barrs Yard with a colourful display of her produce both inside and outside our interiors barn. Do pop in and see her and her range of hand tied bouquets and planted arrangements. Wendy also specialises in weddings, funerals and special occasions as well as planted gift ideas.
A set of six weathered acorn finials - rare to find a set of six.
As always our stock of garden antiques is an ever changing range of urns, statuary, sundials, birdbaths, fountains, stone troughs, furniture and... much, much more for both the garden and the house.
Our website www.gardenartplus.com is regularly updated with current stock so do make sure you have a look or better still come and see us here at Barrs Yard.
