A very early chair from the Coalbrookdale foundry, circa 1850.
More recently restored in white. Stamped.
The pattern is an early one known as Morning Glory patterned with Convolvulvus , more commonly known as bind weed, which has white trumpet flowers and binds itself onto neighbouring plants.
